African Marine Solutions (AMSOL): Bursaries 2023
African Marine Solutions (AMSOL) is inviting students to apply for Bursary Programme 2023 academic year.
Bursary Application Closing Date: 10 October 2022
AMSOL invites un-bonded students who will be studying at a University or at a SAMSA accredited training facility in 2023 to apply for bursaries in the following areas;
- Diploma in Marine Engineering
- Diploma in Nautical studies
- Bachelor of Nautical Science
- Bachelor of Marine Engineering
- STCW officer in charge of a navigational watch course
Requirements you need to apply for Bursary 2023
- South African citizenship
- Grade 12 or equivalent with a minimum Level 5 or 60% in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science
- Unbonded students (i.e. have not been awarded bursaries by any other party for 2023)
- Letter of Motivation
- Curriculum Vitae (CV), including contactable references
- Matric certificate/ December 2021 Grade 11 school report/latest tertiary results (Grade 12 results to be submitted once available

Additional Information
- The bursary may have a contractual employment obligation, at the discretion of AMSOL, based on operational requirements
- University students are responsible for their own registration for 2023
- The basic bursary will cover tuition as a minimum. Other expenses Including residence and textbooks will be awarded at the discretion of AMSOL, depending on financial and personal circumstances
- Selection will be made in accordance with AMSOL’s Employment Equity Plan
