Ayanda Thabethe was born on 18 March 1986, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She has four siblings including Lungile her younger sister. Their parents separated when Ayanda was two years old, they were raised by their mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her mother was a nurse, and Ayanda assisted in her mom’s business of tailoring dresses and selling cold drinks to cater to their needs. They lived in different towns in Durban like Shayamoya, Umlazi, Kwa Mashu, and Ntuzuma.<\/p>
