‘We Are Eating This Elephant Called ANC Piece By Piece’, Says Malema

EFF leader Julius Malema says his party has always been with the people of Marikana, and not only when it was fashionable to do so.

The opposition party leader speaks in this video at the North West area where police shot at striking miners in 2012.

More than 70 people were injured and 34 were killed on the afternoon of 16 August 2012. Police later arrested more than 250 miners.

The EFF has actively campaigned in Marikana, and lauched its manifesto there in February 2014.

“I hear people says Jesus has arrived in PE. No, Jesus has also arrived in Rustenburg,” he says because the municipality “will not fall” to the ANC.

He adds, “We are eating this elephant called the ANC piece by piece.”
