Trappes Valley is a settlement in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, situated about 10 km north-east of Bathurst.
The settlement falls within the Ndlambe Local Municipality and the Sarah Baartman District Municipality.
It was named after Captain Charles Trappes, who was Second in Command of the 72nd Regiment at Grahamstown in 1819. He was the founder of Bathurst and a Provisional Magistrate in 1820.
