Veteran actress Mary Twala who is celebrating her birthday today has been on many TV dramas, films and theater productions for decades.
Her TV career includes her acting on local drama series like Hlalakwabafileyo, Yizo Yizo, Muvhango and more.
Her film career includes Sarafina, Nyaka Nyaka, Taxi to Soweto, Taxi to Soweto and many more.
Somizi is the son of late legendary actor Ndaba Mhlongo and Mary Twala whom he is the spitting image of, or like his Instagram caption, he is the apple and Mary is the tree.

Somizi shared four photos in one on Instagram in which he poses with his mother and captioned it with the following message; “The word UNCONDITIONAL has a meaning when it comes to the love my mama has for me. I celebrate her everyday.“
