Early life and Education
Rosemary Zimu was born on 15 April 1993 in Vereeniging, Gauteng. She has six siblings and Zimu is the second born. They were all raised by their mother, Blessing Zimu.
Rosemary attended University for Labour law course however, she chose art and social media influencers over labor law and her mother supported her decision.
Career
Zimu debuted as an actress in 2014 when appeared as the leading actress in Champagne. The movie was directed by Emem Isong. She was cast in the Netflix mini-series Shadow, she portrayed Crystal in 2017. Zimu appeared in Isidingo as Veronica but the show didn’t last for long.
She was cast in Generations as Thembeka in 2019 and 2020. Zimu played Lily Juice in Scandal! (2020). She is starring in The Queen which premiered on Mzansi Magic as Mildred’s daughter.
In 2022, Zimu is currently casting in Savage Beauty as Zinhle Manzini on Netflix.
