Rooiberg is a town in the Thabazimbi Local Municipality under the Waterberg District Municipality of the Limpopo Province of South Africa.
The town is both an archaeological site and tin-mining area situated approximately 50 km west-north-west of Bela-Bela (formerly known as Warmbaths), at the conjunction of the Springbok Flats with the Waterberg Plateau.
The town’s name Rooiberg means ‘red mountain’ in Afrikaans.
