A senior Gauteng government official is under investigation by the police’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit after allegedly sleeping with a 16-year-old girl.
The 47-year-old man, who is also a senior politician, is now likely to face two charges relating to his sexual relationship with the Centurion, Pretoria, Grade 10 learner.
This after Sunday World reported last month that a senior SACP leader and government official had allegedly slept with his 18-year-old son’s girlfriend.

The official, who is married to a top businesswoman and cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly had a sexual relationship with the high school learner while he knew that she was his son’s girlfriend.
The young woman said she went public about their relationship because “he intentionally slept with me without a condom while he knew that he had an STI”.
Sunday World reported that the official even went to an extent of soliciting a threesome with the minor child’s friend, who was also a high school learner in Midrand
