Paradise Beach is a suburb of Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, situated approximately 80 km west of Gqeberha (formerly known as Port Elizabeth).
Paradise Beach falls within the Kouga Local Municipality and the Sarah Baartman District Municipality.
Marking the halfway point between the surfing hotspot of Jeffrey’s Bay and the holiday retreat town of Cape St Francis is the aptly named Paradise Beach.
Although its name would imply that it refers only to a stretch of the coastline, Paradise Beach actually includes a quiet suburb that is bordered by natural reserves and picturesque estuaries. This means that the natural abundance around it is readily observed and includes otters, small antelope, and several beautiful bird species.
