The Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development, and Land Reform is part of the Northern Cape Provincial Government in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.

The mission of the Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development and Land Reform is to champion land and agrarian transformation, promote and facilitate increased production, and provide expertise for improved livelihoods, sustainable rural development and food security for all.

The strategic goals of the Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development, and Land Reform are to:

  • Ensure sustainable use and management of natural resources
  • Promote optimal and sustainable agricultural production to ensure food security
