New Guelderland, KwaZulu-Natal

New Guelderland is a small town situated along the R102 Regional Route in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa, approximately 5.8 km north-east of KwaDukuza (formerly known as Stanger) and 6.5 km south-west of Darnall.

New Guelderland falls within the KwaDukuza Local Municipality, which is part of the iLembe District Municipality.

It was established in 1859, when Theodorus Colenbrander brought a party of 80 Dutch immigrants to his settlement and named it after Guelderland in the Netherlands.
