The Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs is part of the Mpumalanga Provincial Government in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa.

The mission of the Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs is to lead and facilitate an integrated, comprehensive and sustainable development and social cohesion by participating and partnering with all sectors of society, through agriculture, rural development and land administration.
The Department’s strategic goals are to:

- Improve access to affordable and diverse food
- Improve services to support healthy livelihoods
- Create rural jobs and promote sustainable economic livelihoods
- Improve the institutional delivery environment by ensuring that there are credible Integrated Development Plans (IDPs) and skills audit
