Loopspruit, Mpumalanga

Loopspruit is a small town situated along the R568 Regional Route towards KwaMhlanga in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa, approximately 55 km northeast of Pretoria.

The town is renowned for Loopspruit Wine Estate, which owes its origins to a retired policeman, Eric Olivier. Loopspruit Wine Estate is the most northerly wine estate in South Africa, on the banks of the Loopspruit River.

The town also hosts Kgodwana (Loopspruit), a traditional Ndebele village.

Loopspruit is located in the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality within the Nkangala District Municipality of Mpumalanga Province.
