Lingelethu is a Black township situated in the town of Adelaide in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
Lingelethu lies along the R63 Provincial Route and R344 Regional Route that pass through the town of Adelaide.
Lingelethu is located south of the Coloured township of Bezuidenhoutville. The Kaalhoek River, a tributary of the Koonap River, passes through the centre of Lingelethu.
Lingelethu township falls within the Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality and the Amathole District Municipality.
With a population of approximately 10,000, Lingelethu is the largest Black township in Adelaide.
