The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is the department of the Limpopo Provincial Government mandated to provide safe, sustainable, and integrated transport infrastructure and services, while also intensifying the fight against crime and corruption within the Limpopo Province of South Africa.

The vision of the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is a seamless, integrated transport system and safer communities for socio-economic growth and development.

The mission of the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is to provide safe, accessible, efficient, and sustainable transport services, and to intensify the fight against crime and corruption through partnerships with stakeholders.

The strategic goals of the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety are:

  • An efficient, competitive and responsive economic infrastructure network
  • A skilled and capable workforce to support an inclusive growth path
  • To oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of the police service, including receiving reports on the police service
  • To promote good relations between the police and the community
