Lime Acres, Northern Cape

Lime Acres is a mining town situated along the R385 Regional Route in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, about 22.8 km south of Daniëlskuil, 24.5 km south-east of Owendale, and 61.2 km south-east of Postmasburg.

Lime Acres falls within the Kgatelopele Local Municipality and the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality.

Lime Acres is a mining village with rich limestone deposits in the area. It is home to both PPC Lime and Petra Diamonds, and was named by Eric Lowther, general manager of Northern Lime. The Finsch diamond mine is situated 2 km from Lime Acres, and its employees live in the town.
