Imvani is a small rural settlement situated alongside the joined N6 National Route and the R61 Provincial Route in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
The rural settlement of Imvani is located approximately 30 km west of St Mark’s and 30 km north of Cathcart.
Imvani takes its name from the river nearby which in turn was named after a type of wild asparagus, A. stipulacens, the roots of which are eaten either raw or cooked.
Imvani falls within the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality and the Chris Hani District Municipality.
