Full Name: Dalene Swartz

Hometown: Ennerdale, Gauteng

It comes as no surprise that Dalene’s favourite singer is former Idols contestant and Top 16 alumni, Shekhinah. The BCom student is also no stranger to bright lights as she previously worked as a part-time performer around Johannesburg. Her focus though is now squarely on winning Mzansi over with her voice of gold.

Unathi called her one of her favourites and couldn’t get enough of her voice. As a vocalist for a working band, it was no surprise when Somizi complimented Dalene on being well-prepared and “blessing” the panel with her vocals. She comes from Eldorado Park in Jozi.
