Geysdorp is a town situated along the R507 Regional Route in the North West Province of South Africa, about 23.4 km north-west of Delareyville.
Geysdorp falls within Tswaing Local Municipality under the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality of the North West Province.
The town was laid out in 1895 on the farm “Paardefontein”. Probably named after Commandant Nicolaas Claudius Gey van Pittius (1837-1893), Administrator of the Boer republic of Goshen.
