The Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is a public entity that is owned by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government in South Africa.
The mission of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is to ensure effective conservation and sustainable use of KwaZulu-Natal’s biodiversity in collaboration with stakeholders for the benefit of present and future generations.
Ezemvelo is mandated to direct the management of nature conservation within the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, protected areas, and the development and promotion of ecotourism facilities within the protected areas; and ensure the proper efficient and effective management of the conservation service.
