Esikhawini, KwaZulu-Natal

Esikhawini, also known as eSikhaleni, is a township in the northern region of the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa, situated just 2 km off the N2 National Route.

Empangeni and the harbour town of Richards Bay are the closest towns to eSikhawini township.

Established in 1976 as a black township consisting of middle-income residents, eSikhawini township falls within the City of uMhlathuze Local Municipality, which is part of the King Cetshwayo District Municipality.
