DJ Tira To Officially Marry Gugu Mbambama

THE date has allegedly been set for Afrotainment boss Mthokozi “DJ Tira” Khathi to take another traditional step to make Gugu Mbambama his official wife.

Sunday Sun sources said DJ Tira will welcome the Mbambama family for umabo (exchange of gifts) on 22 October, in Durban.

The source claimed invitations are already out and the white wedding is getting closer.

Close associates, family relatives and close friends are expected to attend umabo.

The Sunday Sun mole said: “The long-awaited day has been set, but the two lovebirds are keeping it a secret.

“I’m so happy for Gugu, that finally she’ll be walking down the aisle with Mtirmane. It’s long overdue.

“I think they were made for each other, but Tira took his time after
his disappointment with his first wife.”

DJ Tira and Gugu had a traditional wedding ceremony in 2013.

“He’s excited and we’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.

“Tira is now a mature man and I do hope Gugu doesn’t disappoint him.

“They’re very cute together and they’re doing some business together.”

Another source said: “Gugu and Tira have been together for a very long time.

“I’m happy he’s finally putting a ring on it now.

“I’m not sure about the venue but we know that the wedding will take place in Durban.”

Gugu confirmed that there will be umabo, but denied a white wedding.

“I don’t know anything about a white wedding.

“Honestly, I only know about umabo.

“Please speak to your source because it seems your source knows so much.”

DJ Tira was not available for comment.
