Coghlan is a small village in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, situated along the R61 Provincial Route between Ngcobo and Mthatha.
The village lies north of the Xuka Drift on the Xuka River, one of the main tributaries of the Mbashe River.
Coghlan village falls within the Dr AB Xuma Local Municipality and the Chris Hani District Municipality.
