Cedric Nzaka

Cedric Nzaka is a Kenyan photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was born and raised in Kenya. Cedric is a humanitarian, social documentary, and landscape photographer who has an interest in fashion and portrait photography. He is the Co-founder of Concept 254, Father 1st Before Artist, and the Ambassador of Sony Alpha SA.

Photography Career

Cedric Nzaka started his career by posting photos of street fashion around urban areas in Johannesburg. The photographs are often expressive straight ahead at the viewers and inspire many of the designers in the city.

He debuted as a professional photographer when he announced his Photographic Coffee Table Book in March 2021.

Cedric Nzaka is the founder of Everyday People Stories an online publication that allows young creatives a platform to showcase their talent through fashion editorials, poetry, and short stories.

The book will be containing 120 pages library of high-definition images captured throughout Nzaka’s career showing his passion for photography, he wanted to give the world an informative image that aligns itself between fine art and photojournalism.

Cedric Nzaka provides a look into what South African fashion is and what it will become by using his captions. He has given hope to people that you can become a fashion designer without going to art school.

He has worked with high-profile people like an American rapper, Rick Ross, Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, and Nigerian singer, Davido.
