Bona was born on August 19, 1995, in Dalseo District, Daegu, South Korea. She attended and graduated from Dongguk Girls’ High School.
Career
Bona was a trainne under Cube Entertainment. She later joined Starship Entertainment in 2013. In 2015, Bona was revealed to be a member of WJSN and its Wonder Unit. She debuted with WJSN on February 25, 2016, with a mini-album Would You Like? and the single “MoMoMo”.
Bona made her acting debut in 2017 with KBS2 drama Hit the Top and then Generation 1979 as the female lead. She was cast in Radio Romance in 2018, Bona appeared in Your House Helper. She then starred in Law of the Jungle.
Bona starred in KBS2 drama Homemade Love Story in 2020. In 2022, She gained more popularity when she was cast in Twenty-Five Twenty-One alongside Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk.
Bona will be performing with WJSN in the later stages of Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk.
