Anerley is a coastal village and holiday resort situated along the South Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa, approximately 10 km north-east of Port Shepstone central and 109 km south-west of Durban.
Anerley lies on the Domba River and its mouth on the Indian Ocean, and along the R102 Regional Route between Port Shepstone and Melville. It is bordered by Southport to the south and Sunwich Port to the north.
The village was named after Anerley, a district in the south-east of London.
Although Anerley forms part of the greater area of Port Shepstone, it does not share the same postal code as the town (4240); it has its own postal code (4230), which it shares with Sunwich Port, Prairie Park, and Southport.
Anerley falls within the Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality, which is part of the Ugu District Municipality.
