About our Programme

We are looking for an HR GRADUATE to join a company that employs real people to do remarkable things. Our Graduate Programme starts in January 2023 and runs for 24 months on a fixed-term contract.

The AVI-Graduate Programme incorporates a holistic experience of technical, leadership, business development, mentorship and practical experience. As one of our Graduates, you will be exposed to a host of diverse corporate situations spanning key improvement projects, CSI Initiatives, skills training and behavioural development.
We have had the privileged of grooming many young ambitious professionals into successful leaders in our business and are excited to walk the journey with you.

Your Obligations

You will form part of a dynamic team of HR professionals and be given the unique opportunity to be exposed to all functions within HR, including but not limited to:

• The promotion of equality and diversity
• Performance appraisals
• Policies around disciplinary procedures and absence management
• The administration of payroll and how to maintain employee records
• Employee relations
• Rewards
• Skills Development
• Recruitment
• HR Reporting
• Learning & Development

Minimum Qualifications:

• A BCom Honours in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology
• A minimum average of 70% in the final year of studies

Other Relevant Requirements:

• Sound analytical ability
• MS Office (more specifically Excel)
• Any vacation experience or part-time work would be ideal
• An ability to demonstrate leadership skills
• A strong desire to learn and grow
